Robert D. Baumberger was born in Gillette, Wyoming, in 1979. He is the son of a coal miner and the first of his family to graduate from college in generations. During his formative years he played sports and enjoyed outdoor recreational activities. Robert excelled at baseball, ultimately winning two Wyoming State Baseball Championships.
Mr. Baumberger graduated from Campbell County High School in 1997 and, thereafter, attended the University of Wyoming. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a Minor in Philosophy in 2004. He was accepted into the University of Wyoming College of Law and graduated with a Juris Doctorate in 2008.
Following law school, Robert served as a clerk in the Wyoming Attorney General’s Office under an Assistant Attorney General in Casper, Wyoming, for two years prior to moving to Colorado.
Robert was admitted to the Colorado Bar in 2009 and took a job in Pueblo, Colorado, working for Koncilja and Koncilja, P.C. He worked for Koncilja and Koncilja, P.C., for six years practicing primarily in criminal defense, personal injury, general litigation, employment law, and workers’ compensation. During this time, he volunteered in many different capacities through the Pueblo Bar Association.
In October of 2014, Robert founded The Baumberger Law Firm, LLC, in Pueblo, CO. For approximately ten years he was a solo practitioner with an emphasis on personal injury, general litigation, employment law, and workers’ compensation. During this time, he volunteered in many different capacities through the Pueblo Bar Association and was active in local politics.
In 2024, Robert decided to relocate his family to northern Colorado. He is currently an associate with Howard O. Bernstein, P.C. Robert’s current focus is general civil litigation.
